Books on Wheels
Service to Home-bound Patrons
The Freedom Public Library is pleased to announce our home delivery service, Books on Wheels. This program provides services to Freedom residents who are unable to get to the library due to short/long term illness, physical challenges, visual disabilities, inability to drive, hospitalization or long-term care residence. Some of the benefits of our Books on Wheels program are personalized visits by a library volunteer and delivery of materials tailored to your preferences. We can deliver books, movies, magazines and audio books right to your home. If you or someone you know would like this service, please call the Freedom Public Library at (603) 539-5176.
We have a self-service copier. Cost is .15/page. Computer users may print for .15/page and color copies for .50/page.
Use our computers or connect wirelessly with your laptop
We have five computers and three laptops with high speed internet access available for public use. There is a 30 minute time limit when people are waiting. Printing to the library's B&W laser printer is .15/p.
You can also use your laptop or other wireless device to connect to the internet via the library's wireless hub.
Need materials the library does not own?
We can borrow materials from almost every library in the State of New Hampshire, so just because we don't have a title you are looking for doesn't mean we can't find it for you! Interlibrary Loan is a free service.
The library has an extensive collection of DVD's but if you are looking for a title we don't own, we will either borrow it from another library for you or use the library's Netflix account to get the movie you want into your hands. All free!
