The Freedom Library Book Club welcomes all.  The Book Club meets on the last monday of the month from September through June at 10:30 AM.
This month's selection is: Pudd'nhead Wilson

Pudd’nhead Wilson, A Tale (1894) is a novel by Mark Twain.  This is a story about miscegenation in the antebellum South noted for its grim humor and reflections on racism and responsibility.  Roxana, a light-skinned mixed-race slave, switches her baby with her white owner’s baby.  The novel follows the boys upbringing and the eventual exposure of their true identities by Pudd’nhead Wilson.
