| Description: |
Here is a Slovakian film which some have described as "sensitivity training for the young." It's the story of a man's attempt to remain young and vibrant despite his advancing age. The plot unfolds at a leisurely pace, describing the simple life of the wonderful characters in the movie. In spite of the badgering of his wife and the attempts of his ungrateful son to get him to a nursing home, the main character, Fanda, vows to live life until the end. The lesson is taught gently with humor and elegance. Admission and fresh-popped popcorn are free! |
