Willowbrook Village

Take a step back in time to the way life used to be in the 19th Century by enjoying a day at historic Willowbrook Village in nearby Newfield, Maine. The Freedom Historical Society is pleased to make available a Willowbrook day pass good for 2 adults and 2 students. There is one family pass available for each day beginning May 29th thru October 11th. Please stop by the library or call 539-5176 to reserve your day. The Wright Museum of WWII History
The Wright Museum of WWII History, located in Wolfeboro, features engaging exhibits illustrating 1940's home life and a vast collection of fully-operational military vehicles. The library pass gives free admission to 2 adults and 4 children. May - October the museum is open daily. February - April it is open only on Sundays. The museum pass also gives free admission to their Cabin Fever Winter Lecture Series which is every Sunday at 2:00 through April 17th. The lecture series flyer is posted at the library and on the wrightmuseum.org website.
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center
The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is located in Concord.  The pass admits up to 4 people for Discovery Center Exhibit Galleries. Admission to planetarium shows is an additional $4.00 per person.
Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm
Come explore the agricultural history of New England as lived by Tamworth's most notable country doctor!  Visit the animals on the farm, and try some hands-on activities.  See exhibits on the Farmer's Year, and take a leisurely hike on the Binsack Trail or along the Swift River. Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

We now have a library membership to Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness, NH which is good for two free trail admissions and up to four discounted trail admissions at $7.00 each. Regular rates are $13 for adults, $9 for youth ages 3-15 and free for 2 and under.
